About the role

MSS Security is seeking Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance, to join our team in Sydney. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.

Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.

• Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.

• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.

Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.

• Hold a current Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance (or willing to obtain).

• Valid NSW Security Licence.

• Valid NSW Drivers Licence.

• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).

• 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.

• Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.

• Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
