Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Sealing Operator to join our Surfacing team in Timaru. In this role, you’ll operate sealing plant and support site activities to help deliver quality surfacing work safely, on time, and to specification. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to get stuck in, work closely with the crew, and help deliver Good Work every day.
 

Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities

• Operate plant used in sealing works, including the bitumen sprayer and roller.
• Assist with sealing activities in line with contract specifications and site requirements.
• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.
• Help keep plant, equipment, and work sites safe, tidy, and ready for the next task.
• Support the team to deliver high-quality work for customers, on time and to standard.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

• A Full Class 4 licence and WTR endorsements.
• Reliability and flexibility, including the ability to work extended hours when needed.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
• A proactive attitude to health and safety, because it matters here.
• The ability to problem solve and stay switched on in a fast-paced environment.
