The Scheduler’s primary function is to provide strategic and CPM scheduling oversight for J-Track projects and project pursuits. You will provide schedule guidance to enable identification and verification of project timelines, sequencing including associated constraints, risks and potential resource bottlenecks. You will also work closely with our cost estimating and business development teams. Keys to success will be input on proposal schedules, project baseline schedules, schedule updates, and schedule impacts associated with Change Orders and Claims.

II. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS |
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or other related field (or equivalent years’ experience).

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Develop and maintain the project's baseline Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule in Oracle Primavera P6 including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity coding, calendars, resource and cost loading etc. in accordance with contract specifications and work scope.
- Directly support estimating teams in initial project schedules and phasing plans for Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build Projects
- Prepare monthly updates and analyze progress against baseline, identify critical and near-critical paths, and prepare variance narratives.
- Quantify the schedule impact due to change orders, delay events etc. and integrate approved changes into the CPM schedule and reconcile schedule logic.
- Develop Time Impact Analysis (TIAs) in support of associated schedule impacts
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION |
- 5+ years of experience as a Scheduler or Project Controls position is required;
- Prior MTA project experience is required; Prior formal experience as an Approved Schedule Manager on MTA projects is preferred.
- Advanced working proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, including resource & cost loading, schedule risk analysis, and XML-based schedule comparison tools.
- Expert in Critical path analysis and mitigation as well as network logic analysis.
- Basic construction knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural, or related construction/engineering principles.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with the project team.
- J-Track does not offer work-from-home options. Depending on the assignment, the successful candidate will be expected to report to a project office or the main office daily.
