SCALE Program Management & Partnerships Lead
Lead strategic technology procurement programs and supplier partnerships to deliver commercially optimized, contractually robust, and scalable solutions supporting Philips products and platforms.
Your role:
As a SCALE Program Management & Partnerships Lead, you will play a critical role in driving end-to-end program management, supplier partnerships, contracting strategies, and governance for strategic software, cloud, AI, licensing, and emerging technology initiatives across Philips.
- You'll lead SCALE program management and business engagement activities supporting software, cloud, AI, SaaS, licensing, embedded software, and emerging technology initiatives across Philips products and platforms.
- You'll act as a trusted procurement partner for Business Units, R&D, Product Management, Architecture, Finance, Legal, Privacy, Security, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and strategic suppliers.
- You'll shape procurement engagement strategies early in technology initiatives, influencing supplier selection, commercial models, contracting approaches, governance frameworks, and value realization plans.
- You'll lead complex supplier negotiations involving enterprise agreements, SaaS solutions, cloud services, embedded software, AI and data agreements, marketplace transactions, private offers, and multi-party commercial arrangements.
- You'll define and execute contracting strategies in close partnership with Legal teams, ensuring agreements appropriately address business, commercial, security, privacy, regulatory, lifecycle, and operational requirements.
- You'll drive value creation beyond pricing negotiations, including supplier-funded investments, credits, incentives, co-development opportunities, scalability commitments, roadmap influence, and risk mitigation.
- You'll manage strategic supplier relationships and governance forums, facilitating executive-level engagement, issue resolution, escalation management, and long-term partnership development.
- You'll ensure program-level procurement governance, including policy compliance, approved procurement channels, purchasing readiness, commitment tracking, spend visibility, vendor master accuracy, and contract adherence.
- You'll maintain visibility into supplier investments, contractual commitments, savings, credits, realized benefits, commercial risks, and value delivery across assigned programs.
- You'll partner with Procurement Finance and Business Unit Finance teams to validate, track, communicate, and maximize business value delivered through supplier engagements.
- You'll support leadership teams in resolving highly complex supplier, governance, ownership, risk, and contractual issues requiring executive alignment and decision-making.
- You'll establish scalable governance models, stakeholder engagement frameworks, and procurement operating mechanisms that support sustainable growth and effective program execution.
- You'll lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals responsible for delivering strategic supplier partnerships and SCALE program outcomes.
- You'll build organizational capability in technology sourcing, supplier management, contracting, governance, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and program management.
- You'll drive adoption of SCALE ways of working, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- You bring 15+ years of relevant experience in procurement, commercial management, supplier management, contracting, technology sourcing, legal-commercial operations, or related business functions.
- You have substantial experience negotiating and managing complex supplier agreements within software, cloud, SaaS, AI, licensing, embedded software, or digital technology categories.
- You have proven success partnering with senior stakeholders across business, R&D, product development, finance, legal, privacy, security, quality, regulatory, and supplier organizations.
- You have experience leading teams, developing talent, driving organizational change, and managing resources within complex global environments.
- You have demonstrated ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, global organizations with significant executive stakeholder exposure.
- You possess strong commercial acumen and extensive experience developing supplier partnership strategies and contracting frameworks.
- You have strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across diverse audiences.
- You bring a structured approach to program management, governance, value realization, and cross-functional orchestration.
- Experience in healthcare, MedTech, regulated industries, cloud transformation, AI, software procurement, or enterprise technology environments is considered highly advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, cloud certifications, or equivalent credentials are considered a plus.
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 93,049.00 –€ 155,081.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 6% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
