This role manages onshore and offshore analysts, functional consultants, and solution architects, along with implementation partners and vendors, owns delivery of warehouse projects and support, and leads WM-to-EWM transformation and warehouse modernization. It combines people's leadership, delivery of ownership, and solution leadership, partnering with the SAP solution architects on design and with warehouse operations on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

People leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and manage direct reports across onshore and offshore analysts, functional consultants, and solution architects, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Plan team capacity and assign work across projects and production support.
  • Mentor team members and provide functional and delivery leadership across warehouse initiatives.

Delivery and project ownership

  • Lead SAP WM and EWM implementations, rollouts, site standups, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements from planning through go-live and hypercare, and own delivery results, successes and failures alike.
  • Drive the transition strategy from legacy SAP ECC WM to SAP S/4HANA embedded or decentralized EWM, along with broader warehouse modernization.
  • Manage delivery timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies, and report status to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee business workshops, solution reviews, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, and make sure each is planned, run, and signed off properly before moving forward.

Run the business (system operations and support)

  • Own run-the-business (RTB) operations for business-critical warehouse applications, including production support and incident resolution.
  • Own ITSM and SLA compliance in ServiceNow, including incident and request management and backlog health.
  • Own the quality of WM and EWM production support, including escalations and follow-through on root-cause fixes.

Solution and process leadership

  • Oversee the end-to-end warehouse process landscape and its integrations and set the solution direction for the team.
  • Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption of scalable SAP warehouse solutions.
  • Coordinate with SAP SD, PP, QM, TM, FICO, MM, and other cross-functional teams, as well as integration teams.

Business, partner, and vendor management

  • Partner with warehouse and logistics leaders to translate operational needs into scalable SAP configurations and automated workflows, and improve end-to-end warehouse processes.
  • Manage implementation partners and vendors, including scope, statements of work, and delivery performance.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and keep business and IT leaders aligned on priorities.
  • Communicate project status and escalations clearly, tailoring updates to the audience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10-12+ years of overall SAP experience with a strong SAP WM and EWM background.
  • 8-10+ years of SAP WM/EWM experience across implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support.
  • 3-5+ years in a lead, architect, or manager role.
  • Experience managing onshore/offshore teams, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of internal warehouse processes.
  • Experience leading WM-to-EWM migration or warehouse transformation programs.
  • Good understanding of SAP EWM capabilities.
  • Experience integrating warehouse processes with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and third-party automation/WCS systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%, domestic and international.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP EWM / S/4HANA EWM certification.
  • Experience in healthcare distribution, 3PL, or large distribution center environments.
  • SAP MM experience across procurement, inventory management, STO, and logistics invoice verification.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
