Position Summary
The SAP Intern will support The Andersons SAP program, an enterprise-wide S/4HANA implementation spanning across multiple processes in our agribusiness and renewable fuels businesses. The intern will be assigned to one or more functional or program workstreams based on business need, working alongside business analysts, functional leads, and system integration partners. Assignments may include process documentation, testing support, data validation, or analysis in support of active project delivery. The role offers direct exposure to a large-scale ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Support assigned functional or program workstreams through the full range of implementation activities, including requirements documentation, configuration support, testing, and cutover readiness tasks
Execute test cases, capture test evidence, and log and track defects through resolution during functional and integration testing cycles
Gather, organize, and validate business and system data in support of process design, data conversion, testing, or reporting activities
Build and maintain process documentation, job aids, and training materials for end users of SAP applications
Partner with business analysts, functional leads, and technology teams to research open questions, track action items, and follow issues to closure
Complete a defined project deliverable over the course of the assignment, presented to program leadership at the conclusion of the internship
Develop working knowledge of SAP business processes and system functionality through structured onboarding and daily participation in program activities

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Accounting, Agribusiness, or related major
Coursework and/or prior exposure to ERP systems, business process analysis, or data analysis preferred
Strong written communication and documentation skills required
0-2 years’ relevant experience required
