About this SAP G-Invoicing Consultant role at Accenture Federal Services
The work
The G‑Invoicing SAP S/4 Implementation Consultant is responsible for configuring SAP’s standard G‑Invoicing capabilities across the seller‑side (servicing agency) business processes. This role supports federal program efforts by interpreting Treasury G‑Invoicing requirements, conducting fit/gap analysis, designing functional solutions, and contributing to implementation documentation such as functional specs, configuration rationales, test plans, and process flows.
You will collaborate with the G‑Invoicing Implementation Lead, project functional teams, and business process owners to define requirements and validate SAP configuration. The consultant will also work closely with technical teams to determine whether gaps can be resolved through systemic solutions and will test the SAP S/4HANA G‑Invoicing design, documenting findings for developer evaluation. Federal SAP experience—specifically within SAP Sales & Distribution—is essential for navigating government compliance and integration needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Configure SAP S/4HANA G‑Invoicing capabilities using the standard SAP solution across relevant seller‑side modules
- Create implementation documentation including functional specifications, configuration rationales, process flows, and test plans
- Test SAP G‑Invoicing functionality and document findings for technical review and remediation
- Conduct fit/gap analysis and collaborate with business process owners to refine G‑Invoicing requirements
- Partner with the technical team to determine whether identified gaps can be resolved through systemic configuration or development
- Support ongoing design, build, test, and deployment activities throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Contribute to functional design discussions and ensure alignment with Treasury standards and federal financial requirements
Here’s what you need:
- 2+ years of SAP SD experience
- Experience with SAP’s standard G‑Invoicing solution
- Experience with Federal SAP implementations
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Treasury G‑Invoicing data standards, controls, and validation rules
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)
- Must be eligible to obtain a government clearance
