Job Description:

SAP FICO Consultant

• 5+ years of overall SAP consulting experience, with strong expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO).
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting General Ledger (GL) and related financial processes, including:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Financial Accounting (FI)
• Fixed Asset Accounting (AA)
• Intercompany Accounting
• Management Accounting / Controlling (CO)
• Project Systems (PS)
• Strong experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance & Controlling functionalities.
• Experience within manufacturing or trading environments is highly desirable.
• Strong integration experience with other SAP modules, including MM, HR, PP, PS, and PM, as well as external/non-SAP systems such as banking interfaces.
• Good knowledge of SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM).
• Functional understanding of Purchase Order (PO) integration with internal and external systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, controls, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Participate in and support end-to-end SAP implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Lead or contribute to business blueprinting and prepare detailed functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, user manuals, test scripts, and related project deliverables.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for complex incidents and recurring issues.
• Identify patterns in recurring issues and implement permanent, sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Work directly with business stakeholders and key users to understand requirements, resolve issues, and provide effective SAP solutions.
• Translate business requirements into appropriate SAP Finance & Controlling solutions, considering both business and technical perspectives.
• Provide expert functional guidance across FI/CO and its integration points with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Manage multiple priorities, projects, issues, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability, with a results-oriented approach to delivering solutions.
• Apply strong fundamental knowledge of finance, accounting, controlling, and SAP business processes to solve complex business challenges.
• Communicate complex functional concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through professional communication, active listening, and a consultative approach.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within SAP Finance & Controlling.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
