At MKS, we are looking for a Sr. SAP Business Analyst – Sales & Distribution (SD) and Order Management (OM) to join our SAP Enhancements Team and play a key role in continuously improving and transforming our global SAP landscape.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, assess enhancement requests, perform impact analysis, and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

You will collaborate with Business Process Owners, super users, end users, functional teams, technical teams, enterprise architecture, integration teams, and external partners to deliver high-value SAP enhancements and continuous improvements.

Your day may include reviewing new enhancement demands, facilitating requirement discussions, analyzing O2C processes, designing SAP solutions, working with developers on implementation, reviewing test results, resolving functional defects, participating in sprint ceremonies, and engaging stakeholders on delivery status and priorities.

You will also be expected to proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual activities, improve user experience, automate business processes, and leverage new SAP capabilities and emerging technologies.

As part of the SAP Enhancements Team, you will gain broad exposure to multiple SAP ERP landscapes, business processes, applications, integrations, and stakeholders across MKS, providing an opportunity to grow beyond traditional functional support into end-to-end solution ownership and business transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. SAP ABAP Development & Enhancement

• Work on SAP ABAP enhancement development from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and maintain complex WRICEF objects including Reports, Workflows, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Perform technical impact analysis, estimation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Follow SAP coding standards, development best practices, and quality guidelines.

2. Technical Expertise & Solution Design

• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP, ABAP Objects/OOPs, Classes, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Implicit Enhancements, Function Modules, and DDIC.
• Experience with Workflows, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, Interfaces, Proxies, DMEE, Search Helps, CDS Views, AMDP, Table Functions, and ABAP on HANA.
• Design scalable technical solutions and collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business users, and other IT teams.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance /Logistics/Operations is a strong advantage.

3. Testing, Production Support & Delivery

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, deployment, and production issue resolution.
• Perform code reviews and ensure performance, quality, security, and maintainability of ABAP developments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.

4. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Collaborate effectively with business end users, functional consultants, developers, architects, and testing teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior ABAP developers.
• Communicate technical solutions, risks, dependencies, and recommendations effectively.
  
  

Skills You Bring: Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong SAP enhancement expertise.
• Deep knowledge of ABAP and WRICEF, including Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Strong experience with OOPs ABAP, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Implicit Enhancements, DDIC, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and Interfaces/Proxies.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP, and Table Functions.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding SAP FI, MM/WM, PP, QM or other business processes is a plus.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with business users and cross-functional technical teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• OData and SAP Fiori – good to have but not mandatory.
• SAP S/4HANA and modern ABAP development.
• SAP Certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow/Jira.
• Exposure to automation, AI-enabled SAP solutions, or SAP BTP.
• Experience working in a global organization with multiple SAP landscapes.
