We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP Technology team in Portugal, working on complex SAP landscapes with a strong focus on modern ABAP development, S/4HANA and system integration.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs and custom enhancements, ensuring high‑quality and scalable solutions
Translate business requirements into technical designs and end‑to‑end SAP solutions
Develop, test, debug, document and optimize ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs and User Exits
Build and evolve RESTful services and modern ABAP solutions using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
Collaborate closely with functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, HR, etc.) to ensure seamless system integration
Support SAP upgrades, data migration activities, performance tuning and continuous system improvements
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation
Strong knowledge of SAP modules and core business processes
Hands‑on experience with ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs and User Exits
Solid understanding of SAP workflows, debugging and performance optimization
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions
Familiarity with SAP integration tools (IDocs, RFC, BTP, etc.)
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.
Additional Information
Flexibility for occasionally travels for key project deliveries and client meetings.
