Location: Beloit, Wisconsin

Pay Rate: $24.75/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, Rotating 7-2-3-2 Schedule (Work Every Sunday)

Hours: Generally starts as early as 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM. Overtime required as needed based on business demands. Start times and hours may vary due to attendance coverage, production schedules, and holiday requirements. Good attendance and punctuality are essential.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Sanitation Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant food manufacturing environment. You will provide leadership and technical support to the Sanitation team, train employees on sanitation best practices, ensure sanitation equipment is operating effectively, and help drive food safety and operational excellence throughout the facility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

  • Coordinate and distribute sanitation workload based on the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Train new and existing team members on sanitation procedures, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor employee compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
  • Maintain sanitation equipment and ensure adequate inventories of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Utilize powered cleaning equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, power washers, foam applicators, compactors, and other sanitation tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, safe lifting practices, PPE requirements, equipment disassembly/reassembly, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
  • Perform plant cleaning activities as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Support and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
  • Participate in safety programs, team development initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct pre-operational and post-sanitation inspections when required and in the absence of a supervisor.
  • Perform the duties of a Sanitation Technician as needed.
  • Monitor, track, document, and report chemical usage throughout the facility.
  • Safely mix and handle chemical concentrates.
  • Enter chemical usage data and related information into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete additional projects, assignments, and duties as directed.
  • Work mandatory overtime when business needs require.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food processing or food manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Sanitation and/or Quality.
  • Knowledge of sanitation processes, food safety standards, and manufacturing sanitation requirements.
  • Experience training employees on sanitation procedures and safety practices.
  • Ability to safely operate sanitation equipment and cleaning tools.
  • Experience handling and documenting chemical usage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including every Sunday and mandatory overtime as required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 100+ pounds, standing, walking, climbing, and working in wet and humid conditions.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

  • AIB-related training, coursework, or certifications.
  • Pest Control Certification.
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating sanitation teams.
  • Experience conducting sanitation inspections and audit preparation activities.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing regulatory requirements and sanitation compliance standards.
  • Experience developing or revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Forklift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial equipment experience.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
