Galileo Global Education HUB (Hungarian Bureau) is a daughter company of the GGE Group and offers a diverse package of dedicated IT services to support our „internal” clients: Schools, Business units and Support functions, in both their Digital Transformation and daily IT operations by spearheading, supporting and managing their efforts through IT project managers, technical professionals and software developer experts.
Job overview:
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications to meet business needs, enhancing our solutions in multiple business domains serving pre-school and school experience initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
You will participate in internal and institution-specific integration and implementation projects as well, as they deliver on their key milestones regarding local customisations.
On a daily basis, you will work with our clients and have the following main responsibilities:
Custom Application Development: Create custom applications tailored to the organization’s unique needs using APEX, Lightning components, Visual Force, triggers, interfaces, workflows, connections, and API security. Embrace the functional aspect of the project to support the specification phase (business domains within higher Education)
Database Management: Design data models, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity.
Integration: Build and maintain integrations with third-party services using REST and SOAP APIs.
System Configuration: Configure Salesforce settings and features, manage user roles and permissions, and set up workflows and validation rules (supporting our Business analyst in this exercise).
Manage all development environments and the deployment process up to production.
Troubleshooting and Support: Act as the first line for issues, debug code, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system operation. Support project partners in integration and production deployment phases
Profile:
7+ years of experience in Salesforce integration and deployment projects, Salesforce Developer certification is a plus
Experience with Agile methodologies
Fluent in English and Hungarian, French would be a plus
Familiarity with higher education systems and processes is a plus.
Know-how & Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and security
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
Versatility in object-oriented development languages would also be a plus
Salesforce Sales Cloud or Marketing Cloud certification is a plus
Experience in Experience Cloud, certification is a plus
