A Day in the Life
The Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology portfolio partners with healthcare professionals to diagnose, monitor, and treat cardiac arrhythmias through implantable cardiac devices, mapping systems, ablation technologies, and related clinical solutions. The Sales & Technical Representative, Cardiovascular role supports the adoption and effective use of these therapies by combining clinical expertise, technical support, and customer engagement across assigned healthcare accounts.This position is based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia and is primarily field-based and onsite, with regular presence in hospitals, catheterization laboratories, and operating rooms. Regular travel is required within the assigned region of Slovakia to support customers, clinical activities, and business objectives.
The Sales & Technical Representative, Cardiovascular provides clinical and technical support for cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology therapies while partnering with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The role combines customer-facing commercial activities with hands-on support during procedures, product education, and territory development responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and clinical staff during electrophysiology and Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) procedures.
- Deliver product training and education to healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of assigned technologies.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
- Identify customer needs and support territory growth through product promotion and account development activities.
- Support case coverage, device programming, troubleshooting, and procedural workflow optimization as appropriate.
- Coordinate with sales, clinical, and cross-functional teams to execute account plans and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor customer feedback, market activity, and competitive developments and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, required documentation, and compliance with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Technical Engineering, or another technical discipline, and 0-1 years of relevant experience in medical devices, healthcare, clinical support, or technical sales.
- Fluency in Slovak and working proficiency in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region of Slovakia.
- Ability and willingness to work in hospital environments, including operating rooms and procedural laboratories.
- Valid driver's license and ability to independently manage a regional territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting physicians or healthcare professionals in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology, arrhythmia management, or Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs).
- Previous exposure to medical device sales, clinical application support, or field-based healthcare roles.
- Experience delivering product demonstrations, presentations, or customer training sessions.
- Understanding of healthcare systems, hospital workflows, and stakeholder engagement within cardiovascular care.
