About this Sales Manager - Utilities Sector role at Aggreko
Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Sales Manager - Utilities Sector based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna or BGC, Taguig. You’ll be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence across the Philippine energy and utilities sector.
This role combines business development, key account management, and solution selling, with a focus on utility companies, power generation developers, renewable energy players, government agencies, and other key stakeholders within the energy ecosystem.
The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, manage strategic customer accounts, navigate complex sales cycles, and foster long-term partnerships with both technical and executive decision makers. A strong understanding of the Philippine energy market, regulatory environment, utility operations, and industry trends is essential to effectively position solutions and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

What you’ll do as a Sales Manager - Utilities Sector:
• Analyze and size utility market opportunities, assessing customer needs, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
• Forecast long-term power and renewable energy market trends, including WESM and Ancillary Services opportunities.
• Align complex utility challenges with technical solutions that emphasize reliability and support essential services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across utility organizations, from operational teams to executive leaders.
• Develop strategic territory growth plans and manage long-term sales opportunities through regulatory, compliance, and procurement processes.
• Create compelling value propositions and commercial strategies that address grid requirements and accelerate customers' energy transition goals.
You are:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a reputable university, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10-12 years of successful experience in sales, business development, account management, or regulatory engagement within the energy and utilities sector, with direct exposure to utility companies and their operational and commercial challenges.
• Strong industry network and established relationships across the utility ecosystem, including technical, operational, executive, government, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and influencing decision makers from technical teams through executive leadership.
• Solid understanding of the local energy market, including thermal and renewable power projects, utility operations (generation, transmission, and distribution), grid integration requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), Ancillary Services Market, and Ancillary Services Procurement Agreements (ASPA) is highly desirable.
