This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales compensation, thrives at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology, and is motivated by shaping data‑driven decisions at scale.

The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting mindset, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a track record of designing analytical frameworks that guide business decisions. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and strategic initiatives, ensuring analytical solutions are aligned with operational realities and long‑term strategy.

  • Lead discussions that simplify complex topics, influence stakeholders, and create alignment on recommendations.

  • Act as a trusted advisor by bringing structured thinking, data‑driven insights, and business acumen.

2. Architect Solutions to Complex Business Questions

  • Frame and break down ambiguous, cross‑functional, and complex questions into structured analytical solutions.

  • Leverage deep understanding of sales compensation constructs, quotas, crediting, performance KPIs, affordability, productivity, seller experience, and related business processes.

  • Design robust analytical models, scenarios, and frameworks to support operational decisions and strategic planning.

3. Translate Business Requirements into Analytical Solutions

  • Convert stakeholder needs into clear analytical requirements and solution designs.

  • Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and accurate.

  • Develop business logic, validation rules, and analytical methodologies to support key processes.

4. Create Metrics & Define KPIs

  • Develop, refine, and maintain KPI frameworks to measure sales performance, plan effectiveness, spend, return on investment, and compensation outcomes.

  • Align definitions across organizations to ensure consistency in reporting and decision‑making (e.g., quota setting, crediting, performance metrics).

  • Ensure KPIs and dashboards are intuitive, actionable, and reliable for both business and executive audiences.

5. Bridge Technical and Strategic Needs

  • Connect high‑level business strategies with technical execution by communicating requirements, identifying dependencies, and ensuring solution feasibility.

  • Support transformation initiatives related to automation, performance management tools, and next‑generation analytics landscapes (e.g., SPM systems, reporting modernization).

  • Influence the roadmap of tools, data quality improvements, and innovation programs.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 6+ years in analytics, business analysis, consulting, or similar roles.

  • Strong background in sales compensation, sales operations, revenue analytics, or related business domains.

  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing complex decisions.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in analytical and BI tools (Power BI, SQL, Python or R a plus).

  • Experience designing metrics, data models, BI dashboards, or analytical products.

  • Understanding of forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance measurement methodologies.

  • Ability to translate complex datasets into insights and business narratives.

Business & Consulting Skills

  • Comfortable framing ambiguous problems and providing structured, actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent storytelling, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking with attention to detail and operational feasibility.
