About this Sales Account Manager role at InterSystems
InterSystems is seeking to hire an energetic, achievement-oriented Sales Account Manager who will contribute to the advancement of HIT adoption in the HealthCare setting, mainly in hospitals. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with healthcare customers across the Middle East. You will work directly with existing clients to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, and ensure successful adoption of InterSystems solutions. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong communication and commercial skills. You will collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Delivery, Support, and Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts in private healthcare sectors
- Act as a key advocate for clients to ensure they receive a high level of service from InterSystems
- Understand client business needs and help them achieve their operational and strategic goals through the effective use of InterSystems technologies.
Sales & Account Growth
- Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and product expansion within existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing.
- Participate in strategic planning processes and develop account plans to ensure client’s optimum return on their investment and the development of long term, secure and healthy revenue streams for InterSystems.
Customer Success & Adoption
- Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing support and relationship management.
- Monitor client usage and adoption to identify expansion or support needs.
- Support the coordination of client projects with internal technical, delivery, and support teams.
- Participate in customer reviews, account governance meetings, and follow-up actions.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data
- Manage and monitor revenue, Accounts Receivable, and any contract renewals
- Assist in internal business reviews and accounts planning.
Qualifications
- A maximum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (preferably in healthcare or enterprise software)
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in healthcare technology, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel within the region.
- The candidate should be comfortable discussing AI at a business and healthcare-use-case level, with sufficient familiarity to identify relevant customer opportunities, qualify demand, and engage the right internal technical specialists.
- Working knowledge of AI terminology and healthcare AI market trends, with the ability to connect AI-related discussions to customer pain points, measurable outcomes, and commercial opportunities
