About this Risk, Regulatory & Compliance Professional role at EQT Group
EQT is seeking a Risk, Regulatory and Compliance professional to join our global Risk, Regulatory and Compliance function, to be based in Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you will support the various fund managers within the EQT group in the implementation and maintenance of their local regulatory governance framework and play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of EQT's AML/CFT framework across the EQT group, working closely with cross-functional teams worldwide. You will bring both technical depth and collaborative instinct to a role that sits at the heart of EQT's regulatory and compliance landscape. About the Team
The Risk, Regulatory and Compliance team is a central function that partners with business lines across EQT to ensure robust regulatory governance and a strong compliance culture. Operating at a global scale, the team works closely with various teams across EQT and senior stakeholders to navigate a complex and evolving regulatory environment. You will join a collegial, experienced group that values rigour, pragmatism, and continuous learning.
About the Role
As a member of the Risk, Regulatory and Compliance team, you will be providing support to fund managers across the group and contribute to the ongoing development of EQT's regulatory and compliance framework while building strong relationships with teams globally. You will also be one of the primary owner of the implementation of the EQT AML/CFT framework across the group.
- Partner with various teams across the EQT group to support the implementation and upkeep of local regulatory governance structures
- Support and contribute to the Global Compliance Framework.
- Play a key role in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of EQT's AML/CFT framework across the EQT group, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory requirements
- Monitor regulatory developments in AML/CFT and related areas, translating changes into practical guidance and actionable updates for internal stakeholders
- Provide expert input on AML/CFT-related queries, escalations, and risk assessments, exercising sound independent judgement
- Contribute to the development and delivery of AML/CFT training and awareness initiatives across the organisation
- Collaborate with global regulatory, compliance, legal, and operational teams to deliver against compliance KPIs and support reporting requirements
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support the adoption of technology, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance compliance workflows
- Engage with external regulators, auditors, and advisors as required, representing EQT's compliance function professionally and credibly
About You
You are a compliance professional who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to work independently and support stakeholders across a complex, international organisation. You bring a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset and communicate with clarity at all levels.
What you'll bring (must-have):
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT compliance, preferably from a multijurisdictional perspective, regulatory affairs, or a closely related field
- Excellent working knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory requirements, including applicable directives and supervisory expectations
- Proven experience supporting or advising regulated entities on compliance and/or regulatory matters framework implementation and maintenance
- Exposure to fund manager operations, investment fund structures, or asset management regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex, multi-stakeholder projects and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital solutions relevant to compliance and regulatory workflows
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with compliance technology platforms or RegTech solutions
- A relevant professional qualification in compliance, risk, or financial crime (e.g. ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent)
