About this Revenue Operations Specialist (SaaS) role at micro1
Role Title: Revenue Operations Specialist (SaaS)
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
micro1 is engaging Revenue Operations Specialists (SaaS) to contribute to a customer's project focused on elevating operational effectiveness and data integrity in complex SaaS business environments. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideally suited for a professional with hands-on ownership of CRM systems and adjacent SaaS revenue tools, especially in regulated or multi-product contexts where operational judgment and clear communication are essential.
Scope of Work:
- Assess and refine CRM data models to align with evolving sales, customer success, and revenue operations requirements.
- Identify, arbitrate, and document resolutions for conflicting operational policies, explaining logical choices and tradeoffs.
- Design and validate compliance-constrained workflows for SaaS revenue processes, ensuring adherence to vertical-specific regulations.
- Diagnose and address gaps in revenue data integrity, supporting accurate, actionable reporting and analytics.
- Deliver detailed process walk-throughs based on personal system configuration experience, highlighting decision points and lessons learned.
- Contribute written and verbal insights for scenario-based operational training tasks in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Recommend system improvements with a focus on scalability, compliance, and cross-functional alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience in SaaS revenue, sales, customer success, or implementation operations (not adjacent or management-only exposure).
- Proven CRM ownership (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) with configuration experience, plus at least two additional tools such as billing, CPQ, ticketing, or project tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve policy conflicts and explain operational tradeoffs in high-complexity, high-compliance environments (fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or similar fields strongly preferred).
- Strong operational judgment: adept at making and justifying process decisions where rules, regulations, or business needs intersect.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting logic and collaborating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in process design for regulated industries or multi-product SaaS implementations, with a focus on compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, prioritizing what to change versus what to leave stable, and articulating the rationale behind each decision.
