Job Summary


The Revenue Management / Pricing Analyst plays a key role in supporting profitable business growth by developing pricing strategies, analyzing incentive requests, and ensuring compliance with UPS revenue management policies and profitability objectives.

The position works closely with the Sales organization to develop competitive and financially sound pricing proposals, administer incentive agreements, support the bid and pricing appeal processes, and ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation. The role also contributes to revenue management planning, contract optimization, process improvement, and the implementation of revenue management systems and tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develops appropriate pricing and incentive strategies for individual customer accounts based on revenue, profitability, and market considerations.
  • Reviews and analyzes incentive requests for accuracy and alignment with UPS approval guidelines, revenue management policies, and profitability objectives.
  • Sets Revenue Management (RM) targets as part of the RM plan and executes activities accordingly.
  • Defines rate strategies and discount guidelines in coordination with District and Regional stakeholders.
  • Develops, prepares, and implements incentive agreements and pricing proposals.
  • Supports the Sales organization in generating profitable revenue growth by processing bids accurately, on time, and in accordance with established pricing guidelines.
  • Compares and benchmarks pricing requests against competitive market rates for similar customer profiles and business opportunities.
  • Performs financial and pricing analyses to support pricing decisions and recommendations.
  • Provides pricing-related guidance and supplemental information to Sales during the pricing and appeal processes.
  • Monitors proposals throughout the bid cycle using relevant pricing systems and revenue management tools.
  • Administers contract management activities and ensures compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
  • Reviews contract performance and supports contract renewals and rate adjustments for unprofitable or high-impact customers in coordination with Sales.
  • Works with appropriate internal systems and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation.
  • Monitors pricing and revenue management results and supports the identification and implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
  • Conducts process analysis and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities, increase productivity, and enhance output quality.
  • Identifies gaps between UPS corporate and local systems and acts as a user representative during the introduction or implementation of new Revenue Management systems and tools.
  • Develops a strong working knowledge of revenue management, pricing systems, processes, and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in Revenue Management, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Analysis, or a related area.
  • Native-level Turkish and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Good understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Residing in Istanbul.
