Position Summary:
This position is responsible for cashiering, merchandise sales and maintaining the store’s appearance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Responsible for cashiering, merchandise sales and maintaining the store’s appearance
- Maintains displays and ensures that the merchandise is kept neat and orderly
- Rotates and replenishes merchandise
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a general knowledge or products being sold
- Assists customers with general knowledge of Mohegan Sun
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of products sold throughout Mohegan Sun’s stores
Training Requirements:
- Previous cashiering experience
- Knowledge of Micros system
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
