Responsibilities:
- Support the overall operations of the Retail line of business (LOB), fostering collaboration to drive new technology solutions and the vendor lifecycle management and providing thought leadership to the Retail LOB.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, legal, compliance, risk, marketing, technology, operational partners and other key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Retail Banking leadership, driving execution of key business initiatives and enterprise priorities.
- Monitor projects and participate in the preparation and delivery of presentations to various levels of management in written and verbal formats, including documenting, analytics, program status and goals met.
- Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives
- Support system implementations, process enhancements, operational readiness activities, and change management efforts.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members while adhering to bank guidelines, policies, and applicable laws.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and provide feedback, operational, and administrative support for the Retail Banking Compliance and Governance Manager and Head of Retail Banking.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and compliance risks across the Retail LOB; escalate critical risks to leadership.
- Coordinate operational issues including application access, equipment needs, workflow, and transaction integrity across all Financial Centers.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute operational reports.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of Retail Banking leadership.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Day and Overnight Travel Required: 25% +/-
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in retail banking operations, reconciliation, or a related support function.
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or other relevant degrees and work experience
- Strong knowledge of bank security protocols and financial center operations, including teller, ATM, cash management, and vendor management.
- Proven leadership skills; ability to build influence and drive change management.
- Excellent ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
- Business acumen and knowledge of banking regulations.
- Autonomous execution; adaptable to shifting priorities in a results-driven environment.
- Sound strategic thinking and ability to influence leadership.
- Analytical problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Process development and change management skills.
- Strong networking and cross-team collaboration abilities.
