The Role

We’re building our most ambitious store concept yet, and we need a designer to create it. We want a space people come to for the experience, not just to buy. You’ll design how customers see, try and feel our products, from the first sketch to a design that’s ready to build. More store openings will follow.

What You Will Design

• Experiences - hands-on zones where customers try products in real-life settings, such as a living room, a home office or a gaming setup
• Customer journey - what people see, touch and feel from the entrance to the till, and the moments they’ll remember and share
• Interactive and digital moments - LED walls, demos, interactive displays and spaces for events or content
• Fixtures and displays - custom tables, walls and demo areas built around our products
• Look and feel - materials, lighting, sound and finishes that make the store feel like PRISM+
• Storefront, pop-ups and booths - facades, windows and event spaces that stop people walking past
• A reusable design kit - a system we can roll out to new stores and refits

What You Will Deliver

• Experience concepts, sketches and mood boards
• 3D renders and walkthroughs we can make decisions from
• Layouts and elevations that contractors can quote and build from

Requirements

• A strong portfolio of experiential, retail or exhibition work that has actually been built. We’ll judge you on this first.
• 3+ years designing physical spaces or brand experiences
• Strong in SketchUp or Rhino, a renderer (Enscape, V-Ray or similar), AutoCAD and Adobe CC
• You design around the customer - you can explain what someone will do, feel and remember in your space
• You’re quick - you can turn feedback into a new version within days, not weeks
• Nice to have - experience with consumer electronics, tech or lifestyle brands; museum, exhibition or brand-activation work; seeing a design through to opening day
