Within KPMG's Restructuring practice, our professionals provide independent business reviews, restructuring advisory, financial diagnostics, and turnaround services to companies, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders facing strategic, operational, or financial challenges.

We are also actively involved in projects related to distressed assets, debt restructuring, business transformation, and financial sector development, serving private sector clients, financial institutions, governments, and international organizations.

KPMG's Restructuring team regularly advises clients on financial performance improvement, liquidity management, business reviews, debt restructuring, and strategic decision-making.

Currently, we are looking for a Consultant willing to join our friendly Restructuring team.

To fulfill the role the candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, or a related field;
  • Working experience in financial analysis, FP&A, banking, corporate finance, audit, consulting, transaction services, or related areas for at least 1 year;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Ukrainian accounting standarts is a must;
  • ACCA/CFA passed papers will be a plus;
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis principles;
  • Experience analyzing company performance, profitability, liquidity, cash flows, and key financial metrics;
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and performance management processes will be an advantage;
  • Understanding of financial markets and business environments;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills;
  • A confident user of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent communication and and social skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure;
  • Flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment;
  • High motivation, creativity and team player;
  • Demonstrate high engagement and teamwork skills;
  • Self driven and responsible.

 

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working as part of an interdisciplinary team on restructuring and financial advisory engagements;
  • Conducting detailed analysis of financial statements, operational performance, profitability, liquidity, cash flow, and working capital;
  • Participating in independent business reviews and financial diagnostics projects;
  • Building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and analytical reports;
  • Performing market, industry, and competitor research to support client engagements;
  • Assessing business performance and identifying key financial and operational risks;
  • Preparing recommendations aimed at improving financial sustainability, profitability, and business performance;
  • Communicating with clients, lenders, and management teams to collect and analyze information;
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and other client deliverables;
  • Supporting management throughout engagement planning and execution processes.
