As a Reservations Agent, you will sell hotel rooms to prospective guests by providing over-the-phone information and assistance based upon hotel inventory and rate plan availability.  Timely and accurate input of rooming lists into hotel PMS to contribute to guest satisfaction and accurate system reporting.

 As a Reservations Agent a typical day will include:

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide guests with hotel information and accommodations
• Convert telephone inquiries into reservations maintaining acceptable performance statistics.
• Enter, confirm and modify telephone, facsimile and e-mail reservations.
• Assist with individual and group reservations in the system.
• Address guest and vendor questions or concerns independently.
• Assist with loading group rooming lists, assigning rooms, specifying billing instructions and securing final payments in full prior to group arrival.
• Process advance deposits.
• Perform daily reservations audit for the next day’s arrivals.
• Process commissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To Become a Reservations Agent at AAH:

• High School degree/diploma or equivalent additional experience.
• 1 or more years of experience in hospitality reservations.  Computer proficiency and ability to operate facsimile and copy machines.
