Position Information

The Research Technician I, under general supervision performs entry level, semi-skilled, technical support research work involving performance of routine tasks. This position supervises and participates in farm work and greenhouse maintenance.


Responsibilities:

  • 20% – Assist with maintaining the grounds and property, including mowing, cleaning, and general maintenance of greenhouses.

  • 40% – Assist with data collection for the Ball trial, including potting, planting, and other trial-related activities.

  • 20% – Perform routine watering and ensure plants receive appropriate care.

  • 10% – Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualfications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Salary: Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications. This is an hourly paid position.
