About the Role
Springer Nature works with external academic editors to run our journals, peer reviewers who generously dedicate hours of their week to offering much-valued constructive criticism to improve the published article, and authors who trust their work to our many journals. Research integrity is a key topic for everyone involved in scholarly research. Making these customers aware of the basic principles of research integrity and how to avoid pitfalls is what this role is about. The Research Integrity Content Coordinator is creating, maintaining, supporting and expanding content shared through free online training resources for our Editors, Reviewers, Authors, and all our colleagues here at Springer Nature.
This is a hybrid role based in Dordrecht. This location supports effective collaboration with the team and aligns with business needs.
Role Responsibilities
Collaboration with the training manager and other stakeholders to develop resources, review, feedback, and input into new courses, and prevent research integrity breaches
Uploading revised and newly created courses to LMS systems, testing, and releasing, including communicating effectively with other teams
Reviewing existing research integrity courses, identifying areas for improvement for content, policy, accessibility, and DEI issues, and updating these courses using e-learning authoring tools according to adult learning principles
Increasing the visibility of training content by raising awareness with internal and external stakeholders
Using data analytics/quantitative skills to prepare monthly analytics reports
Working closely with Marketing and Editorial Engagement teams to facilitate the inclusion and celebration of research integrity content in Springer Nature campaigns, events, and wider projects
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential
Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience
Familiarity with e-learning tools (primarily Articulate 360 software), design tools (primarily Canva) and content management systems
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build both internal and external relationships
Strong language and written skills with a passion for writing interesting and digestible content
Solution-oriented with strong critical thinking capabilities and the ability to identify and explore solutions for complex problems
Detail and quality-driven, strong organizational and prioritization skills
Desirable
Further qualifications such as a master's or PhD
Prior experience in data analysis
Experience in editorial roles or with research integrity
Public speaking interest or experience
