Key Responsibilities

·   Conduct research on Medicare, Medicaid, and private-payer coverage, coding, and payment policies and amounts.

·   Perform targeted and systematic literature searches, evidence landscape reviews, and evidence-gap assessments.

·   Support market opportunity assessments by evaluating clinical, economic, reimbursement, and stakeholder adoption drivers.

·   Identify and assess relevant datasets and real-world evidence sources for client research questions.

·   Assist with health economics and outcomes research, burden-of-illness analyses, and basic cost, budget-impact, or value analyses under the guidance of a project lead.

·   Support publication planning, evidence-generation plans, value tools, payer materials, and other stakeholder-facing assets.

·   Compile and analyze information from online sources, published literature, databases, and telephone interviews with payers, providers, and other stakeholders.

·   Prepare concise, accurate deliverables in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel that summarize methods, findings, implications, and recommendations.

·   Present research findings to internal teams and, as appropriate, clients; incorporate feedback efficiently and accurately.

·   Track assigned work against project scope, budget, and timeline requirements and communicate emerging issues promptly.

·   Collaborate across reimbursement, evidence development, market access, regulatory, and clinical teams.

·   Contribute to internal knowledge development, service-line improvement, and evaluation of new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications

·   Bachelor's degree in health economics, public health, health policy, epidemiology, economics, statistics, life sciences, or a related discipline. Relevant graduate coursework or an advanced degree is preferred but not required.

·   Strong research, analytical, quantitative, writing, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex scientific, policy, and business information.

·   Familiarity with evidence-generation concepts, including literature review, real-world evidence, health economics, patient-reported outcomes, and publication research.

·   Ability to organize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and produce accurate work with appropriate supervision.

·   Excellent written and oral communication skills and professionalism in client and stakeholder interactions.

·   Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

·   Prior internship, academic, consulting, CRO, health plan, industry, or research experience in healthcare or medical technology.

·   Exposure to Medicare or commercial-payer policy, medical terminology, or medical-device reimbursement.

·   Experience with structured literature review methods, data extraction, statistical analysis, or R, Stata, SAS, Python, or similar tools.

·   Intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and a willingness to develop expertise across coverage, coding, payment, evidence, and market access.
