About The Role

Knight Frank is looking to recruit a Rent Review & Renewals Negotiator to join our busy and successful Notting Hill team.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and managing a high volume of tenancy extensions. The team is passionate about delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants and is looking for someone who shares that commitment.

We're looking for an organised, self motivated individual who can work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.


What the Role Will Involve


Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate renewal and rent review terms professionally and confidently on behalf of both landlords and tenants

• Proactively contact landlords and tenants at least three months before tenancy expiry to discuss renewal options and next steps

• Keep up to date with lettings legislation and compliance requirements, advising clients of any relevant changes

• Prepare, manage and complete all renewal and rent review documentation accurately and within required timescales

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues across the wider lettings division

• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple transactions and enquiries


What You'll Be Responsible For


  • Negotiating tenancy renewal and rent review terms with landlords and tenants.
  • Contacting landlords and tenants at least three months before key tenancy dates.
  • Managing renewals and rent reviews in line with current legislation, including the requirements of the Renters' Rights Act.
  • Keeping up to date with lettings compliance and advising clients of any changes that may affect them.
  • Preparing and processing renewal and rent review documentation accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Building strong working relationships across the lettings division.
  • Delivering excellent customer service throughout the negotiation process

What Experience You'll Need


• Experience in tenancy renewals, rent reviews, lettings, property management or a similar customer facing role

• Previous experience as a negotiator, or at least 1 to 2 years in a sales or customer service focused role

• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills

• Excellent customer service skills with a client focused approach

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload

• Confidence communicating with landlords, tenants and stakeholders at all levels

• Knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements, or a willingness to learn

• A proactive, enthusiastic and solution focused attitude

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management systems
