Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with at least 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience to join one of our clients remotely.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare invoices and track outstanding payments
• Maintain the general ledger and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Process expenses and maintain supporting documentation
• Support payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks where required
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Ensure financial records are organized, accurate, and compliant with company procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote working setup
• Experience working with UK, US, Canadian, Australian, or other international companies is advantageous
