Cat Reman products are an important product offering to help our customers achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This position partners with Resource Industries GTM teams and assigned Cat dealers for Reman Sales Growth, as well as Reman Operations improvements in support of overall STU $ growth and Cat Reman RI Growth PIllars. This position is also critical for driving dealer alignment with the Component Repair, Rebuild, Reman Strategy as well as execution and governance of Growth with Reman for assigned territory.

Geographical Responsibility: This position supports dealers in Asia Pacific, for Reman Sales Growth and Reman Operations improvements in support of overall annual business plans & the 2030 strategy. This territory represents the largest STU $ region for Cat Reman, and the incumbent will be responsible for achievement and growth of sales, as well as improved utilization of Reman.
 

Primary Interface: Resource Industries Services Development and Sales Execution teams including Regional & Area Managers, ASC's, and ASRs., Cat Reman Product Group, PSLD, Dealer Managers and VPs, & Customers

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Cat Reman Regional Marketing Consultants play a critical role in helping achieve our Services growth goals while helping customer achieve the lowest possible Total Cost of Operating (TCO).  The Reman Marketing Consultant must demonstrate creativity, foresight, business judgement, and outstanding product support or marketing/distribution knowledge as well as sensitivity to customer financial impact.

This position provides support in areas including NPI, Market and Distribution Needs, Customer and Dealer education, and Sales Execution.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Collaborating with Services Development and Sales Execution Teams, Reman Product Group, PSLD, and Cat dealers to optimize price & inventory, identify and fill product gaps and promote Reman product
• Partner with Cat Dealers to drive Reman awareness, education, lowest customer TCO, and understand specific industry needs to drive customer centric culture
• Execute Growth with Reman for Target Dealers in collaboration with Corporate Services Growth Strategy

Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit. Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions. Incumbent is developing expertise within government agencies, national associations, dealers and customer groups.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant industry experience 
• Fluent with the English language
   

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Experience working with Caterpillar dealers, preferably in a ASR/ASC/PSOR/PSSR role
• Knowledge of Cat Reman business model and offerings
• Experience in positions requiring work across Caterpillar matrix

Additional Information:

• The preferred location is Melbourne, Australia but will also consider Brisbane and Perth location.
