Role Description

Responsible for Asset Reliability activities including Predictive Maintenance (PdM) in Process Industries and Renewable Power with the objectives of safely, efficiently, and effectively monitoring performance, detecting anomalies, predicting equipment health and performing root cause analysis & recommendations through a variety of techniques including physics/engineering, AI/ML and GenAI. Responsible for supporting the development of Spector.ai’s reliability & predictive maintenance solution. This role requires an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of equipment types – both rotating and static, experience in applying maintenance reliability engineering and FMEA, and understanding of CBM and PdM techniques to monitor the equipment health and identify failures before they occur.

Detail responsibilities include: 

  • Leverage industry experience, equipment knowledge and software know-how to support the delivery of world class reliability enhancement & predictive maintenance solution to worldwide clients.

  • Primary responsibility is to provide leadership for the maintenance reliability engineering and FMEA, assessing sensors tags and various documents from customers, explaining the equipment ontology and operational behavior to AI/ GenAI team, reviewing the features for model development and provide your feedback to AI/ ML team, reviewing the output from AI/ GenAI models and agents and provide your feedback.

  • Lead identification of all failure modes, building equipment components, standard parameters, FMEA and implementing these to identify the root cause of functional failure as part of reliability and Predictive Maintenance of equipment.

  • Lead the reliability & predictive maintenance technical discussion with the client and internal team for execution phase with the focus on improving performance, detecting & predicting any issues ahead of time, suggesting root cause, and finally recommending the actions using technologies such as AI/ ML and GenAI Agent.

  • Lead and manage a team of talented reliability engineers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering

  • Proven experience with most of the following analyses - RBM, Asset Criticality, RCA, Condition Based Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance.

  • Proven Experience/ Certificate in Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Power Monitoring, Oil Analysis, and Ultrasound Monitoring preferred.

  • Experience in plant maintenance and/or operations is highly desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and presentation ability
