Location: Tulare Veterinary Hospital – Tulare, CA

Tulare Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, 2-doctor mixed animal practice located in the heart of California’s Central Valley. Our team provides high-quality care to a diverse caseload, including both small animals and dairy cattle, with a strong reputation for advanced diagnostics and compassionate treatment. While we serve a mixed animal clientele, this role is dedicated to our small animal hospital team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our Small Animal team. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with exams, treatments, and care for patients.
Supporting doctors in surgery, dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency procedures
Performing dental cleanings, digital radiographs, and collecting lab samples
Administering medications, vaccines, and maintaining accurate medical records
Filling prescriptions and ensuring proper logging and handling of controlled substances
Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organized hospital environment
Occasionally assisting with front desk duties as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
2+ years of clinical experience preferred
Skilled in surgical prep, dentistry, catheter placement, phlebotomy, and radiology
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Must be open to rotating schedules
