About this registered veterinary nurse role at Medivet

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. As an RVN at Medivet Beckenham, you will be working with a hospital team of Vets, RVNs, SVNs, VCAs and a dedicated team of Client Care Assistants. The hours will be an average of 40 per week, over 4 days, to include 1:5 full weekends. A fair share of bank holidays (usually 2-3 per year) and on-call shifts (usually 2-3 weeks per year) forms part of the job role. The Practice has up to date equipment and regularly perform treatments such as Laser Therapy, Cryotherapy, Laparoscopic Spays and Endoscopy. This is an exciting role for an RVN wishing to get fully involved within a hospital setting, while being supported by an amazing team.

Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
