We are seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities

🩺 What You’ll Be Doing (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Completing Start of Care (SOC) visits with confidence, compassion, and clinical excellence
Completing routine patient visits
Performing assessments that actually reflect the patient’s needs
Creating individualized care plans that set the tone for amazing outcomes
Educating patients and families so they feel empowered, not overwhelmed
Collaborating with a supportive team that values your judgment and expertise
Documenting in the EMR (we keep it as smooth and painless as possible)
Being the RN who makes patients say, “Wow… I feel better already”

Requirements

✨ What You Bring

Active RN or LPN license in Michigan
Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment, including experience conducting OASIS assessments (RN) and follow-up visits
Strong communication skills, including educating patients and families, explaining care plans, and handling Start of Care conversations
Home health and hospice experience preferred but not required
Experience collaborating with physicians and therapists
Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States
Experience with Kinnser is a plus

We were established in 1997 as Alacrity Staffing to provide healthcare personnel to hospitals, nursing facilities, and other medical entities throughout the country. As time went on, our focus shifted from facility-based staffing to personalized one on one care at home because we recognized the need for a smooth and safe transition from the hospital/facility setting to care in the home and our name changed to AdvisaCare Home Health. AdvisaCare became the solution for individuals and their families seeking superior home care services delivered with the exceptional customer service they deserve.

Home Care is personal and our founder, Kris Skogen, believes it should be local too. To that end, we employ a network of clinicians and healthcare staff that live in and understand the communities we serve.
