Job Description
Rewarding PRN/as needed nursing opportunity - 12-20 hrs per week TMS/Spravato.
TMS/Spravato procedures are scheduled Monday thru Friday, with flexible hours available for administrative responsibilities. TMS/Spravato procedures are scheduled at UH behavioral health crossroads location within 1st floor, with flexible hours available for administrative responsibilities in our outpatient clinic. Opportunity for additional hours may be available within the Behavioral Health Nursing Department, based on interest and departmental needs.
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to take on a key role as the TMS/Spravato Coordinator in our psychiatry department. In this role, you'll partner with psychiatrists and the care team to ensure a safe, supportive, and well-coordinated experience for patients undergoing TMS/Spravato.
Key Responsibilities
·Coordinate all aspects of TMS/Spravato treatment with the psychiatrist and care team.
·Educate patients and families about TMS/Spravato, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.
-Ensure all assessments and consent forms are completed.
·Work closely with UHBH psychiatry staff to plan and manage pre- and post-procedure care.
·Obtain insurance authorizations and organize all logistics for each TMS/Spravato session.
·Assist in the delivery of TMS/Spravato within your clinical scope of practice.
·Uphold the standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
Minimal Requirements
· A current Missouri RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
·Active BCLS/BLS
·Flexibility to work varying hours based on TMS/Spravato schedule & needs
·Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
·Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
·Experience in Critical Care or Behavioral Health
·Specialty RN Certification
