Shift: Days 6:45AM–7:15PM CT; Mid 10:45AM–11:15PM CT; Nights 6:45PM–7:15AM CT (orientation shifts Days 7:30AM–5:00PM CT)

Duration: 12 hours

Experience: 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience

License: Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize patients based on acuity using emergency nursing protocols
• Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring and trauma response
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on rapid interventions, codes and patient stabilization
• Accurately document care and follow infection control, patient safety and throughput protocols

Requirements

• Must have 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license
• Active BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
• Negative TB within last 12 months
• Hep B Series or Titer
• MMR Series or Titer
• Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
• Varicella Series or Titer
