We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our fast paced surgical unit specialising in orthopedics, plastics and vascular surgery, on the 6th Floor at our Fitzroy campus.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
This is part time, (30 hours per week) fixed term position until 31/05/2027. You will be part of our nursing team that is pivotal in planning and implementing nursing care to a high standard. We are passionate about providing excellence in health care and achieving exceptional outcomes for our patients.

ABOUT YOU:
Your skills will include:
- Well developed clinical and problem-solving skills in the acute care setting
- Dedicated to providing outstanding patient care
- Have demonstrated experience working in an acute hospital surgical unit
- Hold a current AHPRA registration
You will demonstrate an aptitude for:
- Delivery of patient centred care that coordinates individualised care from admission and throughout hospitalisation, incorporating discharge planning in the plan of care
- Facilitating communication between the patient, family, medical, nursing, ancillary, and allied health staff
- Initiating referrals and utilises available resources for the purpose of comprehensive care to patients and families

REQUIREMENTS:
