Position Highlights:
- Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse
- Location: Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park and Skokie
- Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours: Night shift 1900-0730; weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
- Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
- Required Travel: Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park and Skokie
What you will do:
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: A minimum two year of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Critical care experience
