Registered Nurse (RN) – Oral Surgery

Pay: $30.00–$37.00 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oral surgery team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with oral surgeons and experienced clinical professionals while providing high-quality care throughout all phases of the surgical experience.

The RN plays an important role in patient safety, clinical support, surgical procedures, and postoperative recovery. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dependable nursing professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and patient care before, during, and after oral surgery procedures

• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and postoperative recovery

• Start, maintain, and discontinue IVs and administer medications as ordered

• Assist with surgical procedures, sedation monitoring, and patient recovery

• Perform patient assessments, blood draws, glucose testing, and PRP procedures

• Read and interpret EKG strips

• Safely recover and discharge patients following procedures

• Provide patients with clear pre- and postoperative education and instructions

• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation

• Support infection control, medication management, emergency preparedness, and patient safety standards

• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical team members to maintain an efficient workflow and high standard of care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (ADN or BSN) preferred

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• ACLS, sedation/anesthesia, or other advanced certifications preferred

• Previous nursing experience in surgical, perioperative, Med/Surg, or critical care settings highly preferred

• Strong patient assessment, clinical documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and quality care
