About this Regional Technical Sales Lead – Aeroderivative Gas Power role at GE Vernova

We are looking for a Regional Technical Sales Lead – Aeroderivative Gas Power to lead our aeroderivative strategy across Asia and Australia. You will be the primary technical voice for our Aero fleet, translating complex engineering solutions into high-value opportunities for our customers. You will partner with Sales and Commercial teams to shape the future of grid reliability and datacenter power.Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Strategy & Positioning: Act as the regional authority on Aero gas turbine performance, guiding the selection of solutions that outperform competitive industrial frame, reciprocating engine, BESS, and other emerging technology alternatives.
- Market Growth: Own the regional pipeline from early-stage development through to bid. You will analyze market dynamics to refine our value proposition and improve win probability.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Influence cross-functional teams and build high-trust relationships with customers, IPPs, and EPC partners.
- Voice of the Customer: Channel market intelligence and technical feedback back to our Product Line and Engineering teams to drive future innovation.
- Technical Advocacy: Author white papers and lead industry-facing presentations that demonstrate the role of aeroderivative technology in the energy transition.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience: 8–10+ years in technical sales, product management, or application engineering within the power generation sector.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of gas turbine competitive landscapes, energy market dynamics, and lifecycle modeling.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in driving complex, long-cycle sales processes independently across a dispersed geography.
- Travel: Ability to travel throughout Asia and Australia to support strategic customer engagements.
