In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline in Critical Power application. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the Electrification / Critical Power in EMEA. Main stakeholders are EMEA DTC Program. 

 
 Your main responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of accountability between customers and internal engineering, project management, and service teams for all UPS application integration activities, ensuring customer requirements are clearly defined and translated into technical solutions.

  • Lead technical discussions with customers, capture and clarify application requirements, and ensure alignment with contractual scope and technical standards.

  • Review and approve integration concepts, interface documents, communication architectures, and application-specific designs; coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and service teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Manage technical risks, interface issues, and change requests; drive issue resolution between customer stakeholders and internal functions to maintain project schedule, cost, and performance objectives.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UPS systems, critical power infrastructure, data center projects, industrial power systems, or related application engineering roles. 

  • Proven experience serving as the technical interface between customers and multidisciplinary project teams. 

  • Strong knowledge of UPS topologies, battery energy storage systems, power distribution, monitoring systems, SCADA, BMS, EMS, and communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, or equivalent. 

  • Experience defining and managing system integration requirements, interface documentation, technical submittals, and acceptance testing. 

  • Ability to translate customer operational requirements into practical and compliant engineering solutions. 

  • Fluent in English; additional regional languages are considered an asset.
