What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data or reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. • This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making. • The General Ledger Accounting team focuses on maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, resolving accounting queries, and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable accounting • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments and reclassifications. • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items. • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities as per the close calendar. • Perform flux, variance analysis on P&L and balance sheet. • Perform bank and cash reconciliations and investigate open items.
What are we looking for? • Primary skill - Account Reconciliations - P1 • Good understanding of GL accounting, chart of accounts and double-entry bookkeeping • Working knowledge of US GAAP and or IFRS • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S, 4HANA or Oracle; exposure to BlackLine is an added advantage • Ability to meet strict period-end close deadlines • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders • Good written and verbal communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities: • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
