Receptionist – Part-Time

Position Summary

Lincoln Meadows Care Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain professional and compassionate in a busy healthcare setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and messages.

  • Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and facility information.

  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area.

  • Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.

  • Assist with resident and family inquiries while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

  • Receive and distribute mail and other correspondence.

  • Follow facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection-control requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with nursing, administration, and other departments.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, healthcare, or skilled nursing experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional, courteous, and compassionate demeanor.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility requirements.

  • Must be dependable and able to work with open availability, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Compensation

Starting pay: $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
