As one of our senior Design Delivery Managers, you'll lead the multidisciplinary technical delivery of major transportation programmes across Ireland. Working for clients including the National Transport Authority, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and local authorities, you'll coordinate engineering teams across track, civil engineering, structures, rail systems and environmental disciplines. AtkinsRéalis is currently supporting major programmes including MetroLink and DART+, and you'll help shape the delivery of similarly complex transportation projects throughout Ireland.

Your role

• Lead the technical delivery of multidisciplinary rail projects and programmes.
• Coordinate engineering teams across track, civil engineering, structures, rail systems, environmental and specialist disciplines.
• Drive collaboration and integration across project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Act as Design Manager on major rail and transportation projects where required.
• Lead design reviews, technical coordination activities and multidisciplinary workshops.
• Promote excellence in design delivery, design assurance and technical governance.
• Support the development of Design Managers and future delivery leaders.
• Help shape project delivery methodologies and best practices across the Rail business.
• Support client engagements and contribute to the continued growth of our Rail business in Ireland.

About you

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical delivery across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Experience acting as Design Manager, Design Lead or technical delivery lead on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of design assurance, technical governance and integrated project delivery.
• Ability to manage technical interfaces and bring teams together around common objectives.
• Experience delivering transportation, rail or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (Level 8 or Level 9 qualification).
• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, ICE, IET or an equivalent professional institution.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to developing technical excellence within project teams.
