37.5 hours per week, Includes participation in on-call rota

We’re the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity and this is an exciting time for our national Diagnostic Imaging service. At Plymouth Hospital, our Diagnostic Imaging department has undergone significant refurbishment, with brand-new equipment in place and exciting plans for future growth, including the introduction of a static MRI service in 2027. Now, we’re ready to drive the standard in patient care like never before – and it starts with you.

About the Role

As a Radiology Manager at our Plymouth Hospital, you’ll be an HCPC-registered Radiographer with strong general radiography experience, proven leadership skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams. Whether you're already working in a management position or are an experienced Lead Radiographer looking to take the next step in your career, you'll be excited by the opportunity to lead a friendly, close-knit department through its next chapter of growth and development. MRI experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and inspiring a dedicated team of Radiographers and support staff
  • Championing safe, effective and consistently high-quality patient care
  • Managing and developing Diagnostic Imaging services including plain film, theatre imaging and ultrasound
  • Overseeing the mobile MRI and CT services currently provided on site
