  • Job Title: Quality Control Analyst
  • Job Summary: This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards of TPCi Original Merchandise and Pokémon Center.
  • FLSA Classification (US Only): Exempt

What you’ll do

  • Review Original Merchandise products from various departments for quality and acceptability.
  • Support our long term product strategy by optimizing product quality from our existing and new vendor partners.
  • Focus on conducting production process and manufacturing quality control audits and risk assessments.
  • Track and trend product complaints regularly, help identify root cause and work with vendors to correct.
  • Audit and review quality data according to existing procedures.
  • Use available resources to maintain product specifications for hard goods products. Ensure alignment with manufacturers when reviewing quality standards.
  • Complete on-site supplier review of facilities, assess and evaluate capability and quality assurance processes, request and drive supplier quality improvements.
  • In coordination with the Quality Control Manager, coach TPCi’s QA at manufacturing sites to efficiently identify production issues, and coordinate cross-functional individuals to correct.
  • Anticipate needs, suggest changes to production methods, balance competing goals to provide options for alternative production methods when manufacturing issues arise.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and encourage opposing viewpoints to ensure team success.
  • Analyze data and create actionable projects to improve customer experience, product offerings, or technology improvements that align department goals.

           

 

What you’ll bring

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related science degree.
  • Knowledge of metals, plastics, textiles, color matching, and transit testing.
  • Familiar with inspection preparation and remediation.
  • Functional expertise with nondestructive testing.
  • Experience with quality assurance in a product world.
  • Ability to build a quality assurance process and drive process improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of import manufacturing relationships, including quality control/testing processes and programs and logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to seek professional growth and development as the scope of the position increases.
  • Demonstrated integrity, maturity, professionalism, and sensitivity.
  • Ability to travel up to 4 times a year internationally.

 

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year. The full range is $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
