Job Description
As the Commercial Quality Auditor, you will provide audit support to ensure QMS compliance in production areas. Duties include collecting product samples, visual and dimensional inspection, and inspection documentation. Communicates with Operations when there are quality issues discovered. Communicate with and train adjusters on proper gaging methods.
This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is based out of our Anoka Location.
Available Shifts:
V: Mon, Tues, Wed, and every other Thurs 7am-7pm
U: Mon, Tues, Wed, and every other Thurs 7pm-7am
P: Fri, Sat, Sun, and every other Thurs 7am-7pm
Q: Fri, Sat, Sun, and every other Thurs 7pm-7am

What you’ll do:
Manufacturing Operations Audits: Perform, document and communicate audits of products, processes, SOP's and systems in order to assess effectiveness and compliance to established requirements.
Technical Support: Perform machine process capability studies, SPC audits.
Experience you bring:
High School Diploma/GED
No disciplinary action at a report of Conference level or about in the past 12 months
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and work with numbers
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work independently without continual supervision
You might have:
Greenbelt Training
Understanding of lean concepts
SPC – Statistical process control experience
CQA - Certified Quality Auditor.
Experience in ballistics as an inspector or gunner
Gauging experience
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Mental Requirements: (Language Skills) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
(Mathematical Skills) Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios.
(Reasoning Ability) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Equipment Used: Gages, telephone, calculator, personal computer, copier/printer.
Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Work Environment:
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
Pay Range:
$24.25 - $34.02The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
