About the Materials Specialist (Internal Title: Materials Analyst) Role — Brantford, ON
Copeland is hiring a Materials Analyst for our Brantford team. You'll own the flow of finished goods from multiple vendors and product lines: working directly with multiple departments to keep customers satisfied and orders on time.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence by transforming data and observations into actionable improvements that drive quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Monitor stock levels and approve/release Purchase Orders
- Track finished goods and expedite as needed to protect on-time delivery
- Verify incoming shipments against Purchase Orders
- Support Item Creation Process to add new product
- Build and analyze inventory reports to spot trends and get ahead of issues
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Partner with Production, Customer Service, Sales, Suppliers, and Procurement
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Comfortable analyzing data, spotting trends, and troubleshooting on your own
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Authorization to work in Canada - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Requirements:
- 3+ years in Materials Management
- Bilingual — English/French
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Oracle and JDE; BI tools (Sigma experience a plus)
Pay Transparency: $55,000 - $65,000 CAD Annually
