Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Manage media inquiries and respond to requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
• Organize and coordinate press conferences, media events, and other public relations activities.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
• Develop crisis communication plans and act as a key point of contact during sensitive situations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and support marketing initiatives.
• Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, company blogs, and newsletters.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Public Relations Specialist or in a similar communications role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Demonstrated ability to craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR collateral.
• Established relationships with media contacts and a strong understanding of media relations best practices.
• Proficiency in media monitoring tools and social media management platforms.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR software.
