The role
The Project Manager — Team Lead is a senior, hands-on role within the Cyber Security PMO, reporting directly to the Head of PMO (CISO organization). You will lead a team of three Project Managers and their respective workstreams, owning both the people management dimension — hiring, performance, and development — and the day-to-day execution of a complex, cross-functional security portfolio.
This is not a purely managerial role. You are expected to remain close to the work: setting standards, unblocking delivery, and ensuring quality and consistency across all PM outputs. The ideal candidate brings structured delivery discipline, strong stakeholder credibility, and the ability to translate ambiguity into clear execution plans across multiple concurrent programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Project Managers and their subordinates, setting clear performance expectations and ownership boundaries.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development conversations for direct reports.
- Build and maintain a high-performance PM culture: delivery-focused, accountable, and continuously improving.
- Drive hiring processes for open PM roles, including JD definition, interviews, and candidate evaluation.
Program & Delivery Oversight
- Own end-to-end delivery across the CISO PMO portfolio, ensuring programs are on track, risks are managed, and milestones are met.
- Establish and enforce PM standards, templates, and delivery frameworks across the team.
- Define, track, and report KPIs and delivery metrics at both team and portfolio level; use data to drive accountability and surface issues early.
- Maintain a consolidated portfolio view in Jira, ensuring hygiene, accuracy, and executive-readiness at all times.
Cross-Company Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior PM interface for cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, IT, Legal, Finance, HR, and Operations.
- Lead stakeholder alignment sessions, escalation resolution, and executive-level reporting for critical programs.
- Translate complex security program requirements into clear scope, milestones, and accountability frameworks for non-security audiences.
- Proactively manage dependencies and risks across teams, ensuring no program is blocked due to misalignment.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Define and drive PMO governance rhythms: steering meetings, status reporting, escalation paths, and decision logs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve PM processes, tooling, and team operating models.
- Build and maintain a lessons-learned culture, ensuring post-project retrospectives feed into process improvements.
We expect you to have:
- 5–8 years of project management experience, with a strong delivery track record and high motivation to grow.
- Proven experience managing and developing other Project Managers (team lead or managerial role).
- Hands-on experience running complex, cross-company programs with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with C-level and senior leadership stakeholders.
- Strong delivery orientation: structured, accountable, and outcome-driven with a bias for execution.
- Experience defining, tracking, and presenting delivery KPIs and operational metrics.
- Deep Jira proficiency: project configuration, dashboards, workflows, reporting, and portfolio management.
- Fluent written and verbal communication in both Hebrew and English.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities across teams.
It will be an added bonus if you have:
- Experience working within a CISO, SOC, GRC, or security operations environment — a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, vulnerability management platforms, or similar.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, or SOX.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification — an advantage.
Benefits & Perks:
- Competitive compensation
- Career growth and learning opportunities
- Flexibility and ownership
- Collaborative and innovative culture
- Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
- International environment and talented teams
